changing dash cluster

What is need to put a 69-72 dash cluster in a 68? Would I need a different wire harness? Thanks in advance.

You really only need to relocate the wiper switch from the left to the right. I believe the existing 67/68 harness will have enough slack for you to do so. If not you really only need to create enough slack, or if you refer not to splice, locate a 69-up harness.

Jwill41,

I was checking out the pics of your 68 chevy. I was wondering, from where did you get your ultralight gauge panel? Also, how much did you pay for it?

Thanks, Larry.

The stainless gage panel is in the 67 gmc. I made it at work many years ago.

The Intercepter 50's came from Discount Tire.

I now work for a paint booth manufacturer so no more painting under the trees. We have a fully operational booth and prep station set up in our showroom.

I'm sorry Jwill41, a little misunderstanding there. Not the actual panel itself but the white face gauges that you have in your 68. That was what I was referring to.

Thanks, Larry.

Larry, the white gauges are just the stickers that are usually on e-bay. They cost $20 and they look pretty good for a daily driver.

One draw back on the overlays is the numbers are kinda hard to read at night.
Just an observation that no one ever points out.
I do like them though.
