disc conversion woes
I'm in the middle of the swap, and as soon as I finally got these $#@%&* ball joints loose, I see the fitting on the brake line is smaller than the threads on the new hose. I have the upgrade kit from CPP with the 73-87 balljoints & tie rods--is that why?
So, would it be better to cut & "re-flute" the line with a new fitting, or get a whole new line? Last edited by theo70; 01-21-2004 at 08:14 PM. |

Ah, OK. When you guys say "couplers" & "adapters," do you mean a union that has two different size threads on it? I haven't heard of those yet.
Thanks -- sounds alot easier than replacing stuff. |

When I ran into that, I just bought the hoses from Early Classic Enterprises. They sell a special adapter brake hose that has the proper fittings on each end.
