Is a 92 TBI Buick 350 any good?

I may be able to get a TBI 350 with a 700r4 from a 92 Buick Roadmaster with 54k original miles, for $500, but it needs a ECM and wiring harness. Are these motors any good? stock its 180hp and 300ft lbs. For $700 can i make the motor put out 230hp and 350ft lbs? Is the motor worth buying?

Friend of mines wife has a roadmaster it uses a plain chevy 350

I dont suppose 500 is too bad considering most junk yards want 375 for a core 350 400-800 for a running one.

It's a normal Chevy TBI engine. Being a 92, it will be a normal non electronic 700R4. Figure on 250 for an aftermarket wiring harness and 100 for a computer. The engine will be well worth that price. I'd certainly buy it if I had the chance. The serpantine brackets on the front of it a worth a chunk of the price alone.
