1984 C10 Lower Control Arm.

Hi,
First post on the board.
I live in England UK and have a 1984 C10 pickup, 305 V8, 4 speed manual.
I have been trying unsuccessfully for the last week to find a lower left hand control arm (a-arm, wishbone or whatever it is called).
I have tried Chevy dealers in the UK, Kanters auto, LMC truck, Harmons, Heavy Chevy, Classic Industries etc etc but no one appears to stock a lower control arm for a C10.
Lots of people stock upper control arms, lower control arm shafts and bushes for a C10 along with lower control arms for C20's, But as the lower arm is the most likely to get damaged I am surprised that no one appears to stock them and I can't believe that I am the only C10 owner who needs one of these, maybe I have just been looking in the wrong places.

If any one knows where I might try to get on of these and get it shipped to the UK I would be most obliged.

Thanks in advance

Gareth

Gareth, first, let me say, I don't know about shipping to the UK at all. But, I believe you're looking in the wrong place. The Chevrolet dealers still sell the arm new at the parts department. You should be able to find a dealer that ships to UK to get yours from.

Welcome to this board too!

Thanks for the help and info.

Thanks for the info and the welcome.
Here are a few details on my truck.
4 speed manual gearbox, 305 V8, headers, single muffler and single side exhaust outlet (needs a dual system when I can afford it), Edelbrock performer intake, Carter 9605S Competition Series AFB (600cfm with manual choke), Mallory twin point distributor with 8mm Mallory plug leads and I have found that it runs best on Champion RV19YC plugs, all the emission stuff has been removed, General XP2000 235x70x15’s and everything else is stock (apart from the Taco and vacuum gauge) there is quite a lot of surface rust on the cab wings and doors but hopefully I can get the body sorted out when the weather starts to get a bit warmer and I have owned the truck since 1999.
