I don't know where the change occurs. I have a 58 tow truck now I better check the model number, and the lower part of the front fender has succumbed to rot. I believe this has the bigger fenders, but need some help.

I would agree with admin on 1/2, 3/4, and 1 tons being the same. At least up to the 3600 series.

Close to my place, there is a 1957 Chevy 3800. I believe it is called a "Taskmaster". It is the cab of a '57 attached to a school bus looking body. It is (I believe) an original "Rescue Vehicle" (yeah cool eh?) It is in very good condition too! Anyway, it has the two piece fenders. The lower rear part is separate from the main fender. It looks the same otherwise, the grill and headlights look the same size as my 3100 series. ??? Could it be that you are looking for a two piece fender? What series number is on the fender insignia?

BTW, When I get the digital from work I will go get some pics of the Lil' Red Rescue Unit. And I will post them along with my 57.

I'm in Pittsburgh Pa. I have a close friend in Fresno Ca and Denver if anything showed up on the west coast or in the Midwest. I need to check the model number so we don't run around looking for the wrong item. I don't believe it is a two piece unit, but my impression is, it seems larger than a pickup, may be due to suspension and tires. Thanks for the info, I'll check model tonight. Thanks for the help.

Took a while, but it is a 40 Series and has Viking on the front fender spears. So, should I conclude, 40 and 60 but not the smaller trucks? Thanks for the update, sorry for the delay. I reinstalled the hood, looks great, now it looks like I need to paint all the rest.
