My planned mods are some 33" All terrains with the rallys, a sweet stereo, and a barely legal exhaust system

Thumbs up

That thing looks good, I like it!

I would like it even better with a 383 stroker under the hood.

no a bad looking truck. slide a set of 3/4 ton axles under it, and some gnarly 33" tires and you'll be all set!

Wouldnt we all like it better then, but the 305 is bad enough on gas as it is, especially at $1.89 for regular where i live

regear it, and put a 383 in it, and i'd almost bet you'd increase your milage. the less work an engine has to do, the better milage its going to get. that 305 is a slug to begin with, and the 3.08 gears arent helping it any.

I would love to do that, but see i did some research on the 383 motor, and i found out something i wasnt too happy about. It costs money to actually buy the engine, which is a problem because im broke after buying that rig.

That's a damn nice truck, I like it.

As for the gas, that's cheap.. I wish it was that cheap here. I pay $1,49 a liter, that's about $5.60 a gallon

Funny you should say that, it needs a front driveshaft. No biggie.

Northwestern Ontario here. 78.2 which is equal to about $3.52 a Canadian gallon. 60 cents would be a real bargain, than a $1.89 US gallon, I just dream. Just put $50.00 in the 88 and it didn't fill it. But the van takes about $75.00 to fill. Thats why most of the town driving is done by the Jetta diesel.

Phew that sucks for you canadian guys, 1.89 seems crazy, because I can remember not too long ago at all, paying like .90/gallon
