Vintage Air AC prices
Does anyone discount prices on the Vintage Air systems that fit our trucks? $1,095 is the same price I keep getting from various distributors.

I don't know if it's the Vintage Air system or Old Air system, but Christian's Classics has a system for $865. Check it out at www.christiansclassics.com

Thanks Hutch. I'm concerned that the system will not keep me cool in the summer. I'm going to go visit their shop and get more details.

I don't know about the Old Air system, but the Vintage Air unit was easy. Took about 4 hours to remove factory system, and another 4 hours to install the Vintage system. It worked so well I had to turn it down, the first day it frosted up the vents when it was over 100 degrees out.

I can vouch for the V.A unit as well. Mine read 33 degrees out of the center vent after it got filled with 134a. And here in Houston area, I rarely have it on high, usually med. or low.
I'm not sure about the old air system but V.A. is a recurculating system(it recurculates cab air rather than cooling outside air), so if your cab is very leaky, it might not get AS cold. Mike
