heads?
Cleaning out the barn, I discovered a set of double hump heads buried under my mig. Casting number is 3890462 on both heads but clock shows they were cast in different months. They are bare heads with light{ surface only} rust due to improper storage. Do these things have any value or are they my next boat anchors?

Sure...they have value. Proalby worth around $100 in rebuidalbe shape (proalby a bit more if they are 2.02/1.60 heads). They are somewhat hard to come by....and they are a pair of closed chamber, heavyweight performance heads. Although later performance heads will make more power, and they lack hardened valve seats in stock form.
Just don't throw them away....you should be able to get rid of them on Ebay
