Rear end change; Shock mount help
Anyone swapped a '73 up leaf rear into a '70 coil frame? I have one with a flip kit on it and need to know what's the best way to remount my shocks.

The shocks on a coil spring truck don't even mount to the rear end. You need the proper axle saddles welded on and a panhard mount of some kind.

Chevy Duty carries a kit to do just that...comes with all the parts...you just have to weld them on

CPP caries a kit that has a hanger that bolts over traing arm in rear, Gets rid of the Big Coils and adds Coilovers. Definatley adds better performance and handling. Check it out..
