Thumbs up Supporting the board - wanna help?

As Josh recently posted, the board could use a little infusion of donations. Friday, I'm going to send in $25. Who would like to match it? Lets help the board out (I'm not talking to the people that have recently donated) lets make sure we don't have to deal with ads. This site isn't free to run. Anyone interested in a game to see which board can raise the most money? Any amount would help. Lets pitch in!

Oh, I forgot to add. Most will not donate any money at all. I know this from when I was moderator over at CT. You wouldn't believe how cheap some folks are. Not trying to start anything, but think about how much money this place saves you on your truck.

I know Josh won't say, but I bet everyone would not believe it if he told how much it cost him a year to keep this ship afloat, not counting the hours he spends working on it for us all.

So come on folks, send the man a few bucks. It's the least we can do to help him with this great place. Do without a 6 pack for a day and send it to him.

I sent $20 when I first joined. I'm a member of ColoradoK5 and I know how much money it takes to support a board that gets this many hits every day!

Yeppers!

I just PayPal'd Josh another $25.00.

Cripes, where else can you get this kind of info without some parts/service manager trying to get into your wallet?

I'll match the $25. It may take a few days. I'm still trying to get into my account since I changed my e-mail address. PAYPAL has a POS way of changing the account info when you screw up and type in the wrong passwords.

What the 6 pack or the money? LOL

Anyway, i'd be glad to donate, this is a great site. Problem is, i don't want to send bills in an envelope traveling halfway around the world, so is there a convenient way to wire transfer the money? I can also wire it to a board member's account who'd then paypal it to Josh?

I understand full and well how much it is from when I was an admin on FSC and I will agree it's not cheap by any stretch of the imagination.

Sorry for the complete ignorance here, but your listening to a guy who has never used Paypal. How does this work? The above thread talks about it and gives a Paypal address. When I click on it, it prepares to send an e-mail. What do I do with that???

I'd like to send a few bucks if I can figure this out (and the Wife lets me ).

You guys are great. It gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling to see my 73-87 buds helping the cause.

Rock,

did you ever get any help with the donation? Email Josh or PM him here. I'm sure he can help you out with it. I feel sure he does't care how he gets it.
