Testing Pics - Future Garage Site
Just like DCRANER, I've had issues with posting pictures using the "attach file" tool. I'm gonna try this again. If it works, you'll see a summer photo of the portion of our back yard where my future shop/garage will sit. The photo was taken last July when we bought the place. We moved in in November and now this same photo would show about 24" on white stuff on the ground.
The garage will be in the left side of the yard. The yard is about 58' wide x 55' deep. The garage will be 26' wide x 28' deep leaving a nice size yard beside. There used to be a pool in the back (where you see a slight "dish" in the yard). Since it was removed, it was nicely landscaped. Unfortunately, my wife will loose some of this , but we'll gain a nice garage. So here goes - - hopefully the photo shows... |

Congrats on getting the pics to work.
Nice yard!!! It will look better with a Garage sitting there though.

Thanks for the encouragement Mike. What's totally cool is that the photo was taken from just outside the back of the single car garage that's attached to the house.
The plan is to take the rear wall of the existing garage down creating a three sided (open only to the back) carport to drive thru to the big garage in the back. The back yard is completely fenced. So this way, by keeping the front garage door closed when I'm working on stuff in the back, my projects, along with my tools, is more secure. Less of an eyesore for the neighbors as well. So, please excuse my ramblings, but this is pretty exciting for me. It can't come soon enough. Now back to the real truck stuff.... |

What do you mean, real truck stuff? Hell, a Garage is real truck stuff.
For sure, it's one of the most exciting expenses you can make in your life, besides a house. You think it's exciting now, wait until it's done and you actually get to play in it. |

Thanks again for the support. I'll make sure I post more details and photos as this becomes reality (hopefully this summer). |
