Headlight troubles
I was driving the other day and noticed my headlights werent on so i pushed in the switch and pulled it out and they turned back on and flickered out. I checked the fuses and even replaced the switch and tried replacing the lights themselves nothing Is there anything im overlooking, any ideas not being able to drive at night is getting old really fast

I can't really remember but if there is a dimmer switch on the floor I would change that. It's been a while since I have had a 76, and can't remember for sure if the switch is there or not. Change the dimmer switch and I am sure your problem will go away. That's my opinion.

My uncle's were turning off on him. In a newer vehicle thought. It was a broken wire that wasn't making contact at all times. Sometimes they would touch and juice would go throught and other times it wouldn't. Maybe you have a loss wire.

If you giggled the switch and replaced it and they flash, them maybe it is in the wiring harness that connects to the light switch. Disconnect it and make sure the wires are all in there snugly.
