Tach dash question...?
I scored...I am being given a tach dash out of a '71 c-60 truck,Is there anything besides the dash itself that I should grab out the the truck?going to pull it Saturday. Is there a tach wiring harness? or some other little pieces that these big c-60 have, that could be used? I have one chance at this truck...

make sure you look to see if the engine is an I-6 or a V-8. a six cylinder tach is different from the vee8. I know alot of those big trucks used 6 cylinders. Just a heads up

It's a v-8, the reason my buddy bought this truck was that the company using the truck rebuilt the orig. v-8, back in 1990, since then put only 1600 miles on the truck, some my buddy bought the truck for the motor, junking the rest 'cause it's sooooo rusty.

door panels, knobs, radio, windshield, roof liner and trim, tinted glass if any, handles, front singnal lenses are same as 67-68 1/2 ton, throttle control and choke control, horn button, inside mirror , sun visors, maybe seat belts, lots on the big trucks is useful.
