1986 'Burb Lower A-Arms
Well, horror story from getting the shocks done.. they tore up my control arm (said something about breaking two wrenches... I don't know what that could have been about
 )Now I need a lower control arm before \the local alignment shop will even touch it... So I'm searching, and I find that LMC has a Lower A-Arm assembly for $99... but it's for 3/4 ton only... I'm in search of both a left and right Lower A-Arm for an 86 1/2 ton suburban... Anyone who can help??

My back has been doing evil things of late, and today was the first time I got a chance to get under the frame.
I did not observe any cracks, bulges, or any other sign that my A-Arms were bad... what am I looking for to indicate that I really need a new one? Has anyone used one of the PST or other brand front end rebuild kits that include all the bushings and rod ends? Any opinions?

I used a front end rebuild kit from http://www.performancesuspension.com/ Nothing short of a top notch company and parts. I highly recommend them. Others swear by PST. I'm thinking you may need new bushings instead of the control arm.
