edelbrock or holley?
i want a 750 electric choke carb. should i get a holley or an edelbrock?
the edelbrock that is electric choke says its calibrated for "fuel economy" which i want it to say "performance" |

if you want the edelbrock then just recalibrate it. i'm going with a custom built holley whenever money allows me too, which will be ahwile

Q-jet baby. Only way to go. You couldn't run fast enough to give me a Holley.

THEY DO MAKE HOPPED UP Q-JETS AS WELL..... i think jet make's them...check summit..... |

my friend actually has his stock QuadraJet on his 66 Skylark (455 Stage 1 motor, runs 12.2's and gets 12mpg!)

I probably doesn't help you decide between a Edelbrock or Holley, but that wasn't my intentions.
I was trying to sway you to think more about a Q-jet. |

Eric get a Edelbrock and then order a Carter rod and jet kit. The Carter will fit the Edelbrock carb but you get more stuff in the Carter kit.

eric, I had a 1406 on my 305 ....hated it. Have a Holley on my current setup 600 cfm though. HATE IT! lol

If I can get my stock carter Q-Jet to run good, thats what I will be running, good looking carb with a LOT of CFMs going through them, hold a tune real well too.
