I am not an expert on the original tape players, but seems like the others I have seen pictured had "GM" on the tape door. I've also not seen anybody else talk about the cross over box and extra speakers. Where would the extra speakers be mounted? I'm sure it will go for big money, but am curious as to how and where it is supposed to be mounted.

The tape door does not look correct to me either.
It is a rare thing however to see a NOS 8 track!

I agree it doesn't seem like it is made for a truck, all the ones I have seen used the original speaker.

It's not OE NOS for 67-72 truck. But if you're looking for one, you should probably know that.

If it's rare for whatever it's designed for and a restorer for that vehicle stumbles across it, they may get it cheap, I didn't see a reserve.
