Power Sterring !!Help!!
I found my pressure hose was leaking so I went to auto zone & got a new one and had it installed and now it doesn' work at all. He did check the pressure relief valve to make sure he put it back in right. The pump was working fine before. Never had any problems with it except for the leak but it is the original pump, 80 model truck with over 100,000 miles. Any advice out there? The mechanic did say the new line could be stopped up where it was crimped together. I went and bought a remanuf pump just in case.

You have to bleed the pump sometimes also check fluid levels.

Just asking because I'm repairing my Burb with some pieces of my C-10 , and I had to put the C-10 "Hydro-boost" on the Burb , so i will have to bleed Thanks... the Baron

To bleed the PS pump, you simply turn the wheel lock to lock, slowly. Making sure to keep it full on fluid.

lock to lock ?
you mean from full port to full starboard ? and for the bleeding of the Hydro-Boost ? I saw that the main pressure goes to the hydro-Booste first and is then directed to the P.S. , when i turn the wheels , the hydro-Boost should automatically bleed itself , right ? Thanks Ervin the Baron
