Np-208 t case problems
when I stop the truck you can here a bit of a wining noise in the transfer case, as soon as I take off, it makes a funny grinding noise, I put it into 4hi for a couple of seconds and take it out when Im starting to move, it goes away. It also wont make the grinding noise at all when my hubs are locked in, what the heck is going on in there?

First off, have you checked the fluid? Also check the bolts and make sure they are tight. Ill try and attach the exploded vies of the NP208.

And here is the other. In this picture, the plastic bushings on the shifting forks could be worn out which will eventually cause the xfer case to pop out of gear. They are easy to rebuild, about a day if you are mechanically inclined. Good luck!
