Let's see some shop pics
I just looked at "glock35ipsc's" update on his truck and noticed his shop was real spacious. I have maybe 1/3 of a normal garage so I lust after a nice shop.
I would really like to see some of the shops out there. By the looks of some of the trucks posted on the board there must be some really nice example, Show me your stuff fellas... that goes for the lady shops as well.

Hey Jamis did you erect that one or was it already there. I have been thinking of getting one of those and was currious on the $$ for one.

c10crazy - No decal, that's all painted. Just taped up the checkerboard. For the bowtie, I found an image on the web (that's actually the logo on my valve covers), downloaded and projected it on the wall with an lcd data projector and traced it with a pencil. Then started painting.
Here's another pic. Gr868 |

Here's what I used to work out of back in Wisconsin... don't remember exact measurements, but approx 54x172. It was a pita to heat, and was used mostly for storage (nothing like having your own personal indoor junkyard, hehe)

Don't have a good pic of my shop here in Colorado, but it's much smaller and works great for me. 24x40 with a small 2-story apartment against the back wall. The shop is insulated, heated, has it's own bathroom, and the upper half of the walls are lined with old barn boards that give it a nicely finished look. Plus it's tall enough to fit my lifted trucks... too bad I only rent here

Blue82 - My shop is actually my garage. It a standard 3 car attached to my house. I'd guess it appx. 24' deep by 30' wide.

PM me with your email address and I'll send you a "sneak pic"
The truck is apart for paint right now, and I've been waiting to get it back together before posting pics to the board. Figured I'd start a new post with some start-to-finish pics of the project. It's just a 1st-gen 5.9, not even intercooled yet. John

Gr868,
Very clean shop. I'm a general contractor, but there might be ONE clean wall that I might have to copy your paint design. I think even Martha Stewart would be impressed with your paint job. I'm sure she'll be dressing up her new crossbar Hotel soon. Bradleyworld |
