Switching from lights to gauges, purchased oil line kit, and don't seem to have the right end to hook up to the gauge itself. Should it have a pipe thread going into the back of the gauge? Help, please?

It's not a pipe thread, it's a tapered deal. I got mine from teeitup. Check him out, he's a great guy to get stuff like this from.

interesting, the Longhorn had an aftermarket line installed to the stock guage when the Pontiac motor was installed.

It is a tapered line fitting.

I found some new ones from a company that sells Corvette stuff.

thanks for your help, Paragon has a part I need for my car, so I'll give them a try.
Longhorn Man, I promised you some pic's of my firewall (I switched an air cab to non-air). I should be able to get those this weekend, been planning on moving old cab to the farm for a month, but can't quite make the progress I need to.
