broken tranny case???
Dad just bought a 72 4x4 1/2 ton and the T350 tranny case has a big crack. Will a 2WD trans work? He may also want to trade up to an overdrive anyone done it? thanks for suggestions

2wd will not bolt up to the transfer case without tearing it down and replacing the output shaft with the one from your old one.
