BB is painted Pic
They still have to paint the top of the dash and the Tailgate handle?? Then put the windshield in and color sand it . I should have it by Monday

Looks GREAT Bill New paint jobs are nice but a bit scary the 1st few months. I just found a nice big parking lot scratch in my new paint the other day. Good Luck, it will be alright after you get over being sick about the 1st one

barn9 ; I though you were coming out to help me put it back together , I didn't follow your advice and had the grill painted to match it looked great till I put the blue bowtie on it blue and bronze just look wierd .1970 CST Short Wide; That is why it took me so long to do this now I got to park far away from everything and make sure I get a big parking spot. superfly68 & GMC71k20 ; That is a Gaylord lid I got it at Gaylord it was a blem/frieght damage ,they sell them for 350 installed cash .' if you need the # and contact PM me.

That looks better than I had imagined Bill. I was afraid it would stick out like a sore thumb, like the red one I saw once. Saw another in black that didn'nt cut it either IMO. Too bad you can't paint the blue on the bowtie to match, or maybe gold or another complimentary color. Or maybe make one out of some polished stainless steel, that would look neat. I guess the good thing is, grills aren't too hard to change. Hell, you never know, that might just look good once it is mounted. Keep the pics comin'!
