Disc Brake Owners---Which Pads Do You Prefer?
Right now I have the carbon-metallic pads in my '72. It stops pretty well especially after they warm up. I see some buzz about those high-dollar ceramic composition pads. Are they worth the $60.00??? Or just another marketing hype?

i have autozone's Z speed rated pads on my vehicles and i couldn't be happier. They last forever, don't heat crack, less dust than most, just a great product and worth the money.

Also with the Autozones. Works fine for me.
A buddy of mine went with the ceramic pads and some nitrogen quenched drilled rotors. They are pretty cool and his truck stops better than mine BUT he had alot more $$ to spend.

Are the Autozones a store-stocked item cause the website says not available?

I have Raybestos metallics on my '72 Nova & they fade badly. I have AutoZone Albany metallics on my '88 T-bird & they work pretty well.
