Non Fuel Injection to Fuel Injection
How hard would this swap be? I have my eye on on a Ram Jet engine but it's fuel injected, if I got this engine would I only have to get the fuel injection wiring harness from painless? It can't be that easy, can it?

If you buy the RAM jet 350, I think it comes with the wiring harness. At least from http://www.sdpc2000.com/ it does.

If you buy the Ramjet 350 crate Eng. from any one it automatically comes with the ECU and wireing harness as part of the kit.
There's no easier way to install EFI into a non EFI vehicle. Well worth the money IMO. The only thing you may need to get is the in tank ele fuel pump or a frame mounted ele fuel pump to support the EFI system. |

RamJet is really nice and all, but its a pain in the ass to reprogram if you want to upgrade. Just keep that in mind. You'll prolly want a system where you can program the ECU, its got better possibilities for more power.

The high pressure fuel pump and the return line to the tank is the biggest PITA from what I've heard. The pump should sit in the tank for best performance...if the pump stops working, even for a moment, you'll know it.
