Went to track last night

Knocked off a 14.51 @ 91. Got in 16 runs, actually got tired of running. Did beat a couple of mustangs, an early 90's 300Z and a new Infinity, the one that looks like a 350Z. Got my arse handed to me by a cobra, twice and Supra turbo.

PS. Hey G, those traction bars f...ing rock!!!! On street tires comes out of the hole like a mofo.

GOOD LORD! The MOST MOST MOST runs I've EVER got in at the track was 6, and that day everyone was SHOCKED that I got 6 runs in. How long were you at the track?? 8 hours?
Nice times! Cuttin it down nicely. What was your 60' on that run?

Ah, finally someone can confirm feel of the tractions bars. Did you have any problems mounting them? Any modifications done to them? How much space did you use on the axel and the U? Got any pics?
Now you know why I like to light up them tires.

No problems mounting them. I let the axle rest all the way at the bottom of the U. The only mod I am going to make is to shorten them, by cutting the length down so that the rear bracket will mount closer to the axle. I'm hoping they will stil work as good but not as rough and I can leave them on full time.

What kind of traction bars are we talking here???

Hey G, if you can light up your tires so easy, that means the "traction" bars aren't working too well.

The last time I took Yeller to the track, I loaded up my Hoosiers, jack, and tools...drove 60 miles to the track, ran it 13 times, and drove 60 miles back home. My best time was 14.6@93PMH. Quite a fun day to say the least!

Problem with the bars is that instead of spinning just one tire my truck does both. That helps to reduce the rubber layed down on the street. Problem to completely stop the killa 305 is SLICKS!!
