what years did they have the 427s in the trucks
any one now the years they had a 427 in a truck I got a good deal on one just want to no if they had them in any 67-72s thanks Ben

I don't think they put 427hp motors in trucks.Would have to be a copo order.You could get a 427 tall deck truck motor in the heavier classes.

Nope, only big blocks available in these trucks were the 396 and 402 motors.
You could get the 427 tall deck, with is a different animal than the car 427, in C40 and up trucks though.

This is correct, 402 is the biggest engine you could get per RPO in 67 - 72.

Didn't 427's come in some of the bigger trucks, the 40-60 series?

They did come in the bigger trucks. They have a taller deck to compensate for an additional compression ring on the piston.

my uncles 72 super has a 427 out of a vette that he got for his high school graduation and wrecked a year later, pulled the motor and put it in a truck of the same year model
