Video for MAC67

MAC67 asked me to digitize some VHS footage for him and post it on the web.

Here's the address:

MAC67's Blazer

7 minutes 46 seconds long
37.6MB

You'll probably need Quicktime 6 (LINK)

and

Divx codec from 3ivx

hi guys , thanks for the compliments , that was one of my first attempts at a 67-72 swb 4x4 , it had a 468 , th400 , np205 , 14 bolt rear d 44 front , 4:11's with a locker in the rear , this was my baby , i got into money trouble when my son was born and had to sell it , then about a year after that i tracked it down and bought it back , this was my toy/daily driver , it had the best of both worlds , good drive ability , amazing off road ability and it would beat most street cars in my town , well i got into finacial trouble again and had to sell it , but this time i was going to sell it loclly so i could find it easier , i turned down kid after kid from buying it because i didnt want to see them hurt themselves in it , then an older gentleman came by and told me how he had owned all these big 4wds and new how to handle them , well t weeks later i got a call , the state police figured he was running somewhere around 90-100 down an old dirt/oil road in front of a buddy of mines house , he had this truck for 2 weeks and managed to wreck it like this , also in the wreck he took his wifes life . he walked away without a scratch , i think he might have fractured his leg i cant remember exactly , welll he called me 2 weeks later and told me to pay the tow bill and take the truck he never wanted to see it again , all the driveling was still good and the motor is going to go into my blazer and it will go orange and white , i plan to build a clone to this truck one of these days , not just anytime soon , thanks for all the compliments guys and ill be happy to anser any questions youve got , last night when i was trying to download quicktime my computer got a virus so i have been up all night trying to clean it out and im just now gettin ready to put everything back , in i might get to see it thisevening , and again thanks mrshelley it really means alot to me that you could do this for me

thanks mr shelley and all the other bard members

MAC67-

Glad you're happy with the video. It was no trouble at all.

While I was digitizing it, I was thinking "Man, what a sweet truck". When I saw the end of the video I was almost sick!

Is that all you wanted done, or do you want me do convert the other stuff on the tape?

that video is amazing. loved it. but it looks to me like it is the same clips over and over.... probably different but they look the same. like in the burnouts the truck torques the same nearly every time. but way cool video man! love that truck but it had a sad ending to it!

MAC,

thanks for the video! it is just great! i remember when you posted on this board a while back, and told us the story of that wreck and how it happened.... that was a while ago, and i had forgotten that story until now... thanks for the reminder! that guy was a real jerk!.... its really cool that you have video of all your fun with that truck, and that you were still able to salvage pieces of it.... cant wait to see the clone someday in the future!
