thanks for the info. Hey 59, post a pic of your 69.
Pissonnos - thanks for keeping an eye out. I really would like to do a 69 -72 this time since I have had a 67 and 68 before.

Dubie - I think I replied to your PM. If it did not work let me know.

Heres a picture of my 69'. I just got the rear brakes working properly so I can drive it now... Not in a hurry to get rid of it, but I am not closed to certain options. Its not the best pic but you get the idea, it has its share of rust in places... but overal its in good shape. Its 5 lug already, power discs of front, power steering, 350 bored 40 over, turbo 400 tranny, interior is in nice shape... etc.

PissonNos - I would be greatful if you did have info on the 72 you found. Let me know what you found out about it. I wonder why he has 6 lug on a 72? Maybe chassis is not a 72?

I spotted a 68 stepside at our local wrecking yard -- no good body panels, and the engine is gone.

What are you looking for, complete or partial resto. I did a 72, I had bought a partially finished project, ready for paint, I would recommend to anyone not to do that. The only original part I had left when I painted was the cab shell. Find one that is in need of help, and replace every part on it.
