Diamond Plate box floor

The box floor of my truck has seen better days, so I tought I might replace it with steel diamond plate, anyone try this?

Not only do I think it would look cool, but I fugure it would be strong and durable. What do you think?

Where is the best place to pick up some cross braces to connect the bed to the frame?

Thanks for you feedback.
