2 different master cylinders 71-72?

I have this one on my brake conversion.

But wonder if I should have this one. Regardless I think I need a new one. How do you tell if its bad?

Thats on a C-10, also anyone have a source for the lids and gaskets?

the 1st. images are from a c-10 and the next are 3/4 ton. You need to use the 1st. style if that is what you removed as the lines are reversed on a 3/4..

i just went through that bunch of fun the first one in your pic is part number 10-1339. the second one with the two bail is the one the parts store will swear fits our trucks. use the part number i gave you and you will get the same one you have now

O.k. where did you get it and did it come with the cap? I swear ive seen the 2 bail job on other members c10's.

Also could this have anything to do with 2 different manufactures. I believe Modine and Bendix both used brake masters/boosters on our trucks.

I looked on partsamerica.com website(where I got the pics) and they list both of these for the 72 c10.
