Rear cab trim rivet locations?
Can somebody give me measurements on where the trim rivets go on the back of the cab??? I originally planned on painting the truck a solid color and ground off the rivets. Now I’ve decided to go with a white roof and need to weld on some new rivets. Mainly I need the vertical distance, like from the bottom of the window seal (small back window) to the center of the trim, or from the body line (that is below the trim) up to the center of the trim (or both just to make sure!)
Thanks!

Just use some duct tape to put it back on.... Actually, I have considered putting the trim on a truck not originally equipped as well. I wouldn't be concerned with measurements, because from some trucks that I have seen, some factories weren't concerned with them either! I would mock up the trim with the bottom edge even with the bottom of the driprail and what visually looks the best as far as height around the back of the cab. Scribe above and below, then weld your studs in between.

I measured two big window cabs. Measuring from the bottom edge of the back window, no gasket, I get 2 5/8" to 2 3/4" to the pin center. To lay it out go to the bottom of the drip rail on the door. Measure up 1/2" on both sides and run a string between the sides. That should give you the 2 5/8" 2 3/4" I measured. That's the best I can offer, no small window available. Make any sense?

Just to clarify, those measurements are to the center of the trim, correct?
Thanks for measuring that for me! Jason

Yep, that's to the center of the pin. The drip rail looks like it's the best reference I could use.
