Summit Box Arrived
Lookie what I got today from summit...
Everything is pretty explanitory. I'm now ready for the tranny swap! I wanted a new starter while I was at it, but decided against it for a while. I love having Summit's warehouse in Nevada - ground shipping only takes a day or two!

How much was that 700R4 pan? Does it have taps in it for sensors? I might have to pick one of those up for my vette...

The pan was $122. It doesn't have a provision for a temp. sensor, but you can find other places already on it for that. I like it! It looks sweet. Drain bolt is magnetic too!

While you have the new pan if you can install some more magnets (strong ones) do it. This will save your tranny as the metal filings will not be drawn into the filter.

If you put magnets in that pan you better jb weld them down to the pan otherwise they wont stick.
