Those of you that have done this, do I need to cut any of the bed floor away? I have the inner panel cut away, but still don't see how the filler tube and tray are going to fit. I will continue playing tomorrow night, but hope to have some replies before I start up again.

I will take some pics, as Tennman's and Jorgensensc's how to did not cover cutting the inside panel out, or I missed it.

I am sure you have seen this, but this is Tennman's. You can see in these pics how he extended the stake pocket and then the bnottom view of it going up towards the light.

Yes, I have those pics and the "How To" all printed out for reference, but it really doesn't explain, in detail, what gets cut. I understand that anything that I cut will be covered with the new panel, but not sure if they cut into the floor.

The floor will "have" to be cut my friend ! I have had at least 2,000 e-mail for this mod. Its really not that hard really. Just use your head and imagination and i promise you'll do just fine. Good thing about working with metal,it can be repaired if you mess up.

Thanks Tennman. I have already cut the inner wall, and just didn't see things fitting without cutting the floor, but didn't want to proceed until I was more sure.

Sure am glad that there are people out here that are willing to help those of us that are challenged or affraid to work with stuff like this.

I just got off the phone with the local junk yard and all the S-10 parts have been pulled for me and are waiting at the counter. (That brings the total up to $20 so far). I am gonna install this modification on Saturday. Only difference is, I am going to do it on a stepside. After reading all of the posts and feedback, the stepside should be just a little less intense to install. I'll also try to post pics when I get it done.
