Easter Sunday edition of "What did you get done"
It's time for the Easter Sunday edition of "What did you get done this weekend". I spent my weekend working on a prop for our Church. Saturday afternoon we had our Church picnic in my back yard, and all the kids on our youth group hunted eggs.
Sunday morning spent at church, then family and friends came over for barbeque. We had brisket, links, and chicken....Mmmmmm

I didn't do too much. I got the rear window and windshield installed in Yeller, worked my second job yesterday, and spent time with my fiances family today...and ate too much while doing so.

My brother and I are getting into the inflatable bounce house business. We took the first one we bought to church for the kids to test out. We are looking into buying 4 more also to get going. Anyone else in this business here??

BS'd with truck buddies on Friday. Ripped out a fence and another tree for the new shop. Saturday was spent at my Mother-in-laws...doing what a good son-in-law should...EAT and clean gutters.
Today I did homework and did some preparation on the 96 for my trip to Houston to pick up parts for the 70 this coming weekend. Nothing much productive in the automotive area.

I suggest you look at larger inflatables to rent for corporate events. The money is much better there. If you get some unique inflatables and hook up with event planners you can do well with it... You may consider going to the Fun Expo September 30 to October 2 in Vegas. They usually have a pretty good showing of inflatable manufacturers represented there. Fun Expo The best show for inflatables is the IAAPA show in Orlando. That's in November, the week before Thanksgiving. It's a monster show for the amusement park industry, but it's attended by many other industries as well. It's also a great time to take your family to the theme parks in Orlando. IAAPA |

Just visiting.
Sat the 3rd I loaded up wife and kids AND mom and drove for 7 hours to the edge of the solid surface. I drive a Very large suburban truck but because we must bring the entire contents of our dwelling it required I hook a second cargo transport container to the back of it.
Spent week staring at this undulating thing at the end of the solid land from the "beach house" we rented at St George Island FL. There was a really bright orb in the sky that hurt my Ocular receptors if I did not keep fliters over them. It also may my epedermis warm to the point of truning red when I forgot to bath it in "SPF Bazillion really bright orb repellent". After a couple days I turned brown. Turning brown made the wife unit preturbed. She was trying to turn brown and layed under the really bright orb every day atempting to do so. She was only successfull at turning red. I spent much of my time playing with the offspring. In particular I spent it plaing with the smallest because it is much less irritating then the older one. The older one I did not help make and has a severa attitude problem and needs to be beat. It takes every oprotunity it can to make people mad at it. The little one seldom makes me that mad and I also helped make this one and that was quite fun on it's own. The smallest is the red one. It came that way and it was not from the really bright orb. We kept it coated in "SPF Bazillion Really bright Orb repellent" to keep it from becoming more red and thusly irritated. Here is a picture of the little red person playing in the gritty light colored stuff at the edge of the big green undulating thing. We call this one "Zan". We spent a lot of time digging hols into the gritty stuff and making piles of it. The small red one seemd to enjoy this. On the way back for the edge of the solid surface back the the dwelling my deceleration devices started acting up and it appears I will spend next weekend repairing them.

Grim that was quit entertaining. I see your time in paradise enhanced your poetic side. I like the beach scene, but my favorite is your picture of Zan the little red people. She is too cute...

Here is a picture of Zan titled "Chocolate Foot prints". Seems that bottle of Hershey's chocolate syrup was within her reach on the counter and snuck away from mom just a little too long. She squrited it out on the coffee table and proceded to dance in it then jumped down onto the carpet.

Grim, sounds like something my lil one would do. Zan is a cutie, but have a pic of the wife unit? haha.
i spent the weekend moving, working, moving some more and cleaning. But, the moving is done, cleaning is done, now have to unpack and organize. Spent today doing homework that i have neglected to do.

Just got home from a 400 mile trip with my truck. It was the first time I drove it this year. I love driving my truck but driving for that long is freakin ridiculous!!!! ( The sound of the wind whistling through the windows combined with my stereo gave me a pretty good headache). Gave it a good tune up on Saturday, changed plugs, tanny oil, engine oil, fixed tailights. Long story short.... drove it for six hours on 1 1/2 tanks of gas (pretty damn good I thought) I I'm siliconing those damn windows shut for good.LOL in the next weekk I plan on tinting the windows, putting my rims on and getting an alarm. Pictures to come soon

I rebuilt "3" Tilt steering columns. One for my truck. I also Raised the front bumper on my truck to cover the nasty gap left from the body lift. Instaled a new sterio and speekers in my buddies truck and spent the rest of the weekend with my family.

I finished repairing the firewall and birdcage on my vette, as well as reinfocing the frame with welding all the sames, installing braces and gussets.
