Burning 710
I think I'm burning a bit of oil which may indicate an engine rebuild, does anyone have any idea how much a shop might charge to rebuild an engine (350)? I know a whole lot of factors go into this. But just looking for a ball park figure. My 350 now is built up but not exactly sure with what cam, pistons etc. Would I be better off buying a new built 350 or having this one rebuilt? Thanks...

If you're burning some oil, look first at the valve guides in the heads. If they're leaky, you'll burn oil and replacing valve guildes or the whole head is a lot easier and cheaper than a full engine rebuild.
For your question, anywhere from 1500-5000 bux depending on who you go to and what you want done. At least, those prices seem reasonable to me. If it's stock and you're going with a stock rebuild, you can get a long block from a parts store for 1200...
