Widest tire I can run with a 4" drop and 15X8 Rallys?
I have 15X8 Rallys with Western Chassis 2.5" drop spindles and Western Chassis 1.5" drop coils.
I want to keep at least a 27-28" tall tire since the rear will be a 275/60-15 (which is about 27.99" in diameter). 225/70-15 = 27.4" diameter 235/70-15 = too tall = 28.29" 235/65-15 = odd size? 235/60-15 = 26.10" = too short 245/60-15 = 26.57" = better, but still kind of short? 245/65-15 = 27.54" = odd size? 255/60-15 = 27.05" = might be too wide...?

I'd go with the 255/60/15. That's what I am running in the back right now, but I'm about to get some 275/60 for the back and move the 255 up front. They are both on 8" wide wheels.

That is what I would prefer to run...as long as it doesn't rub.

The 255/60 looks good in the front, and matches up well in height. My brother has that set up on his 71 burb...
I was running 225/70's on the front of mine with a 7" wheel and it was maybe a 1/4" diff from the rear 275/60's on 8" wheels....

Is that what you were running on that pic of your blue truck laying on the driveway? If so, they look good.
