Who would be interested in my custom '77 c10?

Checking to see if anyone is interested in buying my 1977 c10. Here are the specs:

Engine: 350 in excellent condition, performance cam (not sure on specs)

Carb: Edelbrock 550cfm (Carter AFB style)

Trans: th350, shifts good but has leak

Body and paint are good, there is some rust bubbling through right near the bottom in some places as well as the front of the hood(PO probably drove around in the winter). The rest of the body is great, the panel behind the driver's rear wheel is new metal, and the inner fenders are new. Interior is nice as well. Padded dash, newer style Chevy steering wheel, new seat cover, new carpet. Sliding rear window.

I am just seeing who might be interested in it for now. The truck is at home and I am at school 100 miles away. I will be going home May 7 and will be able to get more pics then. In the meantime, I can answer any questions anyone might have.

I would like to get $7,000 out of the truck. You can reach me by email, PM, or just by replying to this post. Thanks for looking!

Jonathan Reding

That is a nice truck. I have a couple questions. I see you have a 73/74 grill on there, as well as amber parking lights on front...neither are '77 "correct"...did you put on a early model front clip or something?

Good luck selling it, it sure looks nice.

I didn't put the front clip on, the PO did when he did the custom job. I've had several people ask me about that, I should have thought to put that fact in the description.

As far as eBay goes, I have tried to sell vehicles on there before and don't seem to have much luck. Cheaper cars seem to go well, but when I tried to sell my Grand National, I only got one bid and the buyer never came through. I hate to pay the $50 list fee and not get any bids. I might give it a shot though come summer. I'm not too desperate to sell it right now, but I'd really like to get a Trans Am or possibly Camaro and use the excess cash to work on my '68 and my K5.

Thanks for the compliments everyone.

Autotrader/Trucktrader seems to be a great place to advertise. $40 for a run till it sells ad (both paper print and online ads for one price).

I just sold my '89 F350 crewcab that way in less than a week. But a rust free truck shouldnt be hard to sell in MN anyway
