Widest tires

What is the widest tire that you can get under the back of a 6 inch dropped truck or blazer. I have 8 inch ralleys and I know 295-50s will fit with no problem. I was thinking about going up to 10 inch ralleys and was wondering if any wider tires will fit. I was thinking about ordering some from Wheel Vintiques and maybe having some made with a bigger offset. Maybe a 6 inch would suck the tires in a little more.Does anybody know if the brake drum face is in the center of the openingbetween the inner wheel tub and the outer fender?.

I know a 15 x 10 with a 5" offset will work with a 295 x 50 x15. I don't think that I would try a 6" offset. It would be to close to the wheel well. I ran this combo on my 67 until I went with the 15 x 12's. Of course I tried different offsets with out the tire installed until I found the right one.

The orange and white truck is mine 4" drop in the back 2" in the front. I dont know what the offset is I just told Lester Schwabbeee what I wanted and they put it on. The plan for my truck is A 4 6 drop in the future running the same wheel and tire combo. The orange truck was at A car lot $10000. That looks like A 6" rear drop. There is A guy I know with A black 72 6" rear 4" up front running the same combo in back and it looks sharp.
