I can even talk with experience. 12 years ago I was leaving for work, but ole yeller wasn't there! Some a**hole stole it during the night. He bought a ign. switch from a parts store, reached up under the dash, disconnect my switch, put in his, and took it on a 3 week 500 mile cruise.

He didn't damage the truck except cut my seat belts(?). Left it sit at a senoir citizens center. I was lucky that my voltage reg. stuck, cooked my battery dry and it wouldn't start for him.

I didn't have my kill switch in it then, but I do now!

well guys looks like the toggle is the most preferred method mine is only a summer truck and i dont drive it much then its parked in my yard all the time I dont let it bother me or id go crazy thinking of that so i remove the battery if its not going to be driven much and when i leave it in I always have a loaded rifle near by and (I hope your brave) .What I was thinking though was wiring the #1 cyl to my steering wheel and let them enjoy there shocking expeirience.

That (3-on-the-tree here as well), and I have a dual fuel switch under the dash, that if I leave it in between the "gasoline" and the "CNG" detents, it selects neither fuel, and eventually will burn up what fuel's left in the lines. It's not a very obvious switch, and isn't visible at night. I've managed to forget a few times, switching the fuel over (some while driving, and some while just idling) and if the switch sits in the center, and you burn all the fuel out of the lines - it can be a pig to get started. Lots of time to come out of the house with a nice heavy item to inflict bodily harm, in a hurry.

That's the depressing part... No I don't. But I'm actively trying to remedy that situation. The truck needs a couple more things to make it "legal". I'll keep everone aprised of my progress.....

Anyhow, my first car was a 55 Bel air 2-door hardtop. I was chainin' the steering wheel and hood then, and still do. I actually "crank" the steering wheel all the way to the right or left and then chain it. Unless someone with a "wrecker" comes and tows it away with the front end off of the gound, it will only go in circles.

If nothing else, it's less ridiculous than a "CLUB".
