Hauling your truck in an enclosed trailer

Hi Does anyone on here carry their truck in a enclosed trailer? If so what size?I have a 70 ss chevelle that I show and was thinking of buying a enclosed trailer.Figured If I get one i should one big enough to carrry the truck also when it ever gets finished.I was thinking about a 24 or 26 foot and it would have to a good size door on the left side also to get out of the truck.Any info would be great.

Thanks
Ray

our trailer is 24' and its not hauled my truck, but has hauled a 68 or so dodge 1/2 ton and hauls our 72 Nova drag car. we use a winch and leave it in neutral and teh window down to steer, hard to find left had doored traielrs around here. the dodge was snug, but it fit.

We have a 20 FT enclosed trailer, I figure my 69 LWB should fit in. The truck is 18 or 19 ft, the only problem I could see is the height clearance getting it in the door. I guess I will have to try some day.

I have a 24' and its great for all my cars and trucks and still have plenty of room for storage when a car is in it

I have a 24ft. U.S. CARGO PHANETOM SERIES that I use to haul my 69 pro street in when it is to far to drive it. The trailer is the 102 inch wide trailer not the 96 inch one which does make a difference getting out of the doors when you are a big man like myself. The only thing I would do if I were buying one is to make sure it has the escape door on the drivers side so that you can get out of the drivers door and to attach the tie down straps on the front drivers side. Ihope this helps Jay

Hamlet Trailers in Pinetop, AZ custom built my brother in law's trailer. They will put the doors wherever you want 'em.

Thanks guys for the responces.I pulled my 72 longbed in my friends 24foot haulmark trailer.I pulled it over to the right as far as possible and couldnt get out.It is a 102 inch wide trailer. The door would only open about 4 inches,so I will defintely have to have an door on the left side.

Thanks
