Looks great Curtis. Am I seeing bolts in place of rivets? Did you dissassemble the whole frame and bolt it back together after powdercoating? If so what kind of bolts are you using?

Thanks for the feedback!
I disassembled the entire frame, all but 3 crossmembers... the main X member in the middle (the driveshaft goes through it), the xmember just behind it, I removed the lower Half supports on it to ensure the powder coat got in all the cracks. The front X member was also left in. The holes were resized in the frame and X members to fit the new bolts. I am using grade 8 hardware front to back. Some say that it is overkill but the price is not much more than regular bolts and when you compair the strength of the factory rivets to run of the mill bolts, grade 8 seems like a good idea. I had the trailing arms sandblasted as good as I could. The rust scale build up between the 2 halves is the problem there. Even as good as powder coat is getting in all the cracks I opted to seal the two halves fully with a black polyurathane based sealer. It really looks clean and will prevent any bleeding of rust if moisture should get in between the 2 halves in the future. It is not the greatest picture of the sealer but here it goes. Curtis

Looking good...I really like that the hardware isn't the same color as everything else. It's all in the details. Looks great!

Looking sharp!I really like the way you used different colors on everything. If you dont mind me asking about what does it cost to powder coat a frame?

The cost of powdercoating varies. I used a company that does the sandblasting for you. Up in Canada I imagine it is more expensive than down south but up here I think you could get a complete chassis done for about 1100-1300 which would include the sandblasting.
The only negative thing is that the finish is only as good as the metal. In other words... if you have major rust pitting in some areas, that will show up. Unlike paint you could use a little fill for those areas. I had hours of smoothing out different rust pitted areas because I wanted to use powder coat.
