54 grill question
Do they make reproduction "nose" pieces for 54 chevys? When I say nose, I mean the center of the grille that comes out into a point. The rest of the grill i have can be used and only the center part is messed up. I was wondering if I could buy just that piece instead of a whole grill?

Try here as well:
http://www.chevyduty.com/frame-free-cat.html $85 for a steel one and $95 for a chrome one.

Yep thats what im looking for. Mine isnt chrome, so luckly ill be getting the cheaper one rather then the $125 chrome one
I know where a good 54 grill used to be, but the guy that runs the junkyard beat the s*** out of it running the tractor into it moving it around. It was a stake truck, but the WHOLE truck was very nice. Obviously he didnt care about it, because I dont think theres a square inch of the body left that isnt dented up. The guy seems to like crushing things rather then selling parts... so he doesnt care if they get beat up. But thing again all the bigger junkyards like that seem to like crushing them since the price for scrap has gone up.

This is mine. If push comes to shove I could knock it back out and bondo it smooth. Or get creative with a welder.
