Q-Jet Fast Idle

I may should have put this in Engine & Drivetrain, but anyway...My truck has a 4BBL Q-Jet with an electric choke. It's an '84 model carb, and I believe the model number is "E4ME". I just hooked up the electric choke and it seems to be working ok, but I can't get the engine to fast idle when its cold. I have to keep the truck going from inside the cab by keeping the idle up with the gas pedal. Do these Q-Jets have a fast idle cam, and, if so, where is it located and how do I adjust it? Pictures would be helpful. As always, thanks for your help.
