6" front drop & sway bar
Am I going to have to take off my swaybar or at least flip the front mounts on the brackets with a 6" front drop? It looks like it has a bit of pressure (angle) on it now but I cant tell for sure. Id sure like to keep it & am just a little bit afraid it is going to lower it even more if I take it off. Could that be possible if it has pressure on it? It looks killer sitting that low. Ill click off a couple of pics soon...corn

I'm not sure, but doesn't someone make an afternarket mount that positions the swaybar just off the frame?

You can just knock off the stock brackets & drill holes or flip the front mounts over on top of the brackets. Its just that I dont want to do it unless I have to...corn

I bought some lowered mounts from somewhere. I got the site off the FAX part of the board. There is a thread that shows how to do it and it is very complete. I think it was a post from TXfirefighter...but not sure. Anyway it works great and I'm happy with the mounts.

u can get some brakets like that for 67-72 trucks, looks like it will bolt right up.

I just mounted mine directly to the frame. No binding issues until you put it on a lift.

I've been driving with a 5 or 6" front drop for a couple years now and a 1 1/4" sway bar. Not sure what kind of binding your talking about, but I don't have any issues of any sort unless I pull too far up to a parking block
