67-72 4x4 want to see pic's of 6" lift on 35x12.50
Thinking of a 6" on my truck but wanted to see if there will be to much wheelwell shown with 35's. Are just go with a 4" on 35"s.... Are these year of trucks notorius for cracking frame near the steering box like my 74 chevy did.

Another guy from Pueblo? Hello neighbor. Pueblo West here…..
Here two nice examples of lifted 67 – 72’s http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s....php3?t=119720 http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s....php3?t=131512 Yes, 67-72 are prone to the frame cracking just as the 73-91’s are. I bought the ORD frame brace in an effort to prevent it from happening to my 78" K10.

The 67-72's aren't quite as prone as the '73 and up, but it does still happen. 35's shouldn't be too much stress, but if you go bigger, keep an eye on the frame. If you are buying a used truck, always check the frame around the steering box. A lot depends on how much abuse the truck has been delt.

When I had my 74 4x4swb I had a 4" with 33's, I had no frame problems with it, but the steering box would come loose often. My cousin own's a 1972 chevy blazer lifted 4" with 35's he hates it, he said that it cracked his frame and steer's worth a poop. I guess now would be the right time to fish plate my frame, since I have the front rap off.

Thanks Tim, I appreciate the vote
It's an 8" suspension lift, no body lift on that old blue 67.
