Advice needed on 72 blazer cst?? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

looking to buy this 1972 cst blazer, it has a GM 350 crate engine in it, pretty much all original same color same original interior, automatic original hub cap's. It even has the chalk marks on the firewall from factory. The only flaw I see is a chunk of rust behind passenger side door. Is there any other things to look for before making this deal...

Biggest problem areas are rust around the windshield and rocker boxes. Rocker boxes are now repopped, so they are fixable. The windshield frame is probably most important place to look for rust. Good luck!

And pull up the corners of the carpet or rubber mat to make sure there holes because water loves to run down the openings of the hardtop and hide under the floor coverings.

Look at some of the earlier pics in my album (see my signature line). Mine had all the typical rust and rot.

Check good the whole cowl area. Vents, floor, windsheild. Rear floor around the wheel tubs and tailgate.
