SWB Box f/s

I have a SWB box off of a 81 for sale. I am sure it will fit anything from 73-87 but mine has holes on either side for the fuel filler not a fuel door. Also comes with 2 16 gallon fuel tanks. Box is in prety good shape, it has a bad spot where the front panel is seperating from the bed side on driver side. Bad spot is only about 6in long. I will post pics tonight or tomorrow. Asking $400 OBO for all.

Must not be the original box. Thought 79-87 boxes had fuel doors and 73-78 had the holes for the fuel filler. One thing for sure, Baker City is closer to Beaverton than Vermont.

I will get some on my lunch break today. By the time I get off work its dark. 78silver I think your right about the fuel doors on the box but I believe they can be added. I am also going to have an exelent complete front clip and doors off of an 86 that I will be selling in the near furture. If anyone is interested I would give someone a package deal for ev erything.

The ones with holes for the filler are pre 78. You can't add doors unless you plan to cut/weld.

Bump for ya...

That definately is a SWB box but not originally from a 81 as it has a hole flush with panel for fuel fill and not a square cavity with hole to accomodate fuel door as standard with 79 through 87.

If anyone is interested I will sell the box and the 86 1/2 ton, 1000 for the pair. 86 has a 4.3V6 and sm465 4-speed. Runs and drives nice. No rust in doors or front clip. Would make a good SWB project I just dont have the help to get it done.
