Will a Cab fit in a long bed?
I bought a cab a few weeks ago and since I am overseas, my dad or brother is going to pick it up for me. What I need to know is, if they will have to get a trailer or if it will fit in the bed of a longbed pick-up. Thanx

Yes, the cab will fit in a long bed quite nicely. It has to be turned sideways
and centered over the wheel wells. If the rockers are good, then it can be supported with approximately 5" high pallets. If the cab still has the outside heater housing it will need to clear the side. Check the measurements on this but as I remember it will clear with a 5" pallet under the rockers. If the rockers won't support it the cab rails can be used and the necessary cribbing added. We strapped the cab in place as we trucked it for over a hundred miles and did not want it shifting. Jim |

I've done this too, except I was getting rid of the cab off of my 71.
