HEI Power Wire

Can someone with a 75-85 Chevy with a HEI tell me if the power wire to the HEI is fussed and if so what size. Im redoing the power wire to mine and Im running it streight to the Battery with a relay and would like to fuse it. Its in a 70 so I have no idea what size fuse to use.

I asked that same question some time ago.
The consensus seems to be to run it to the unfused ignition terminal on your fuse block and that 12 ga. wire with a 20 amp in-line fuse would be right.
