lowrider exhaust
I posted this in the pics area by mistake. So here goes again Does anyone have any pics of their exhaust in a lowered truck with leaf springs. Haven't got mine all the way down yet and it looks pretty tight with a five inch dump and a c notch, was wondering if I will have to cut the box floor for it. Any help is much appreciated thanks

I dont have any pics of my set up yet. although mine is a coil spring type this idea may work for you. about the middle of trans area have the pipes come through a reinforced hole in frame & run them along outside of frame. then snake them above the axle between the wheel & frame & straight out the back.

Sorry, no pics on last summer's mods...... I have a 3/5 drop on my longhorn, & run full lenght Hooker comps. the old truck has 2 custom crossmembers,( 1 under the Richmond, & 1 under the rear of the cab). they are 2x6x1/4" wall, & notched for the pipes to run under. the truck runs a full lenght 2 1/2" dual system , that exits through the rear bumper(over the axle, & around the fuel cell), with 50's Flows for muffs. there is LOTS of room on a leaf spring truck to hang exhaust my youngest "brat" helped with hanging the tailpipes on the longhorn, on a Sat afternoon. I have been the "part timer" in a local muffler shop for a couple seasons crazyL
